Oman’s Fisheries Department has arrested 40 expatriates for fishing without a fishing license and illegal fishing. At that time 15 fishing boats were seized.

In a statement issued here today, the department said, “Fisheries control team raided Sadah area of Dhofar province and arrested them. Necessary legal action has been taken against them at present. However, the police did not say which country the 40 expatriates were from.
