Minister for Road Transport and Bridges and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has alleged that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and BNP leaders were involved in creating confusion by misinterpreting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s statement on construction of Padma Bridge.

Quader made the allegation in a statement signed by the party’s office secretary Barrister Biplob Barua on Friday.

In the statement, the bridge minister said, Bangabandhu daughter Sheikh Hasina is a dreamy person. He is relentlessly working for the betterment of the people of Bengal.
From generation to generation the people of Bengal will appreciate his glorious leadership.
After the father of the nation, no other leader except his daughter Sheikh Hasina has worked for the betterment of the people of Bengal with immense patriotism and with a definite political philosophy and plan in the light of the spirit of the great liberation war.
