This is very good news for Bangladeshi travelers.
Direct flights from Dhaka to Bhutan are going to be resumed for them. From July 1, Druk will fly from Dhaka to Paro, Bhutan’s second largest city.
Druk Air is the national airline of the Kingdom of Bhutan.
Initially, the company will operate two flights a week.
Earlier, Druk’s flights on this route were suspended for a long time due to Corona.
According to Druk Air, the Dhaka-Paro route will be operated every Sunday and Wednesday from July 1. The flight will leave Dhaka at 1pm on these two days and reach Bhutan at 2.40pm local time.
The flight from Paro will leave for Dhaka at 11 am on these two days. However, Druk Air has not yet announced the fare for this route.
Druk currently operates flights to Delhi and Bangkok, India, in addition to several domestic routes in Bhutan.
Druk Air also said that Bhutan will offer on-arrival visas for Bangladeshi passengers.
For this, the validity of their passport should be at least 6 months.
No more paperwork is required to get a visa.
