Awami League Member of Parliament (MP) Haji Mohammad Selim will surrender today (Sunday) following the High Court’s verdict as the High Court has upheld 10 years imprisonment after the trial court in the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) case on charges of illegal acquisition of assets and concealment of information.

He will surrender in the court of Judge Shahidul Islam of Dhaka Special Judge’s Court-6 on Sunday (May 22) after 2pm.
Haji Selim’s lawyer Saeed Ahmed Raja confirmed the matter.

He said Haji Selim would surrender after 2pm on Sunday.
We will apply for his division in prison.
Then I will apply for his bail in the Appellate Division.
He has already submitted his surrender application to the court.
