Muscat, the capital of Oman, has introduced a new provision of a fine of one thousand Omani riyals for not dumping garbage in the right place. Today, the country’s national media reported, citing the Muscat municipality, that if a person throws dirt on open land, courtyards or valleys inside the Muscat municipality, he will be fined 1,000 Omani riyals. Which is equivalent to about two and a half lakh rupees in Bangladeshi currency.
Muscat municipality authorities further said, “All citizens and expatriates have been warned that all citizens of the country must dispose of garbage in the right place. Otherwise, they will have to pay a certain amount
