The regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) is going to take a decision to increase the margin lending facility to overcome the ongoing recession in the capital market. This time the commission is going to decide on taking margin loan facility up to 1 taka against 1: 1 or own 1 taka. According to reliable sources, the commission is working to implement this from tomorrow.
In addition to increasing the margin loan facility, the commission is going to allow withdrawal of cash from brokerage houses for the convenience of small investors. In this case, investors will be allowed to withdraw cash up to Tk 5 lakh from the integrated customer account
