Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of the BNP, has said that money laundering and corruption are the principles of the ruling Awami League.

He said that Awami League has lost its political character and now it is the politics of the party to lie about BNP. People believe that at present the basic principles of Awami League are money laundering and corruption.

Rizvi said, ‘Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has established himself as the Maharaja of lies. There is only one thing in return – to expose all the absurd, incoherent, imaginary lies and slanders against the BNP.

He further said, “The only way for Obaidul Quader to survive is to produce new lies. And the state and society are endangered in this false politics. The whole nation has to pay compensation. ‘

Rizvi said that the story of money laundering of Awami League leaders is similar to the story of Sindabad. The Awami government is now lost as the stories of these unknown lootings start coming out. That is why they are trying unsuccessfully to hide their face by suddenly spreading fabricated stories against the Zia family and the BNP. These looters think that the biggest obstacle for the government to earn a living is the national hero Tareq Rahman. That is why they are spreading violent propaganda against him. ‘

Rizvi said, “A notification has been issued fixing the mountain-equal toll rate of Padma bridge. Now by cutting the pockets of the people and forcibly building bridges with money, the pockets of the people will continue to be cut for a long time to cross that bridge. Not only Padma Bridge, but also flyovers, metrorails, elevated expressways, tunnels, power stations and every mega project is being harilized. And the country is drifting towards bankruptcy like Sri Lanka.
