Oman continues to be dust storm, urging everyone to be vigilant
Terrible dust storm continues in Oman. The country’s Meteorological Department has already issued a warning to citizens and expatriates. The meteorological department said in a statement on Thursday (May 19th) that dust storms would continue for several more days in Musandam, Al Buraimi, Al Dahirah and Al Osta provinces.

According to the department, dust storms have been recorded in different parts of the country. Dust storms up to 1,500 meters in Kasab, 3,000 meters in Hebrew and 5,000 meters in Masira have been recorded. According to the Gulf Council, the dust storm between the GCC countries has continued for several days.

At this time the residents of the country do not go out of the house without the need. The elderly, especially those with asthma, those with low immunity, people with heart disease, and children are particularly urged to be protected from dust storms.
There are three things to keep in mind to stay safe from dust storms. These include: staying indoors and avoiding open spaces. If you suffer from asthma, you must take preventive measures according to the doctor’s instructions and wear a mask or wet clothes.
