During the meeting, when Imran Ahmed requested to take necessary staff from Bangladesh for the World Cup to be held in the country, the Minister of Labor of Qatar assured to recruit staff. According to the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare, the meeting discussed the development of Bangladesh’s labor market in Qatar, recruitment of necessary personnel from Bangladesh for the World Cup, post-World Cup construction and recruitment of workers in the service sector.
Referring to the fraternal relations between Bangladesh and Qatar, Minister Imran said Bangladesh is happy that the Muslim country Qatar is hosting the World Cup. Bangladesh is ready to cooperate in any way for the successful organization of the World Cup. Bangladesh is keen to send the necessary staff for the World Cup to Qatar.
Qatar’s labor minister has said that the construction of various development projects in Qatar will begin in the middle of next year.
