Almost all of it is being procured from the domestic market.
BSCL said this in a notification sent
It is mentioned in the notification that Bangabandhu Satellite-1 has been in the revenue stream for three years.
In the meantime, the total revenue of the company has exceeded Tk 300 crore. At present the monthly income of the company is about 10 crore rupees.
Gradually this income will increase further. At present, the state broadcaster Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar broadcast a total of 36 TV channels and the country’s only DTH operator ‘Akash’ broadcasts through Bangabandhu Satellite-1.
Two banks in the country are already providing ATM services through this.
Negotiations are underway with many more public and private banks.
