Bagerhat Correspondent: A schoolboy committed suicide by hanging himself at Rampal in Bagerhat. His name is Sheikh Swaib (15). The incident took place at 8 pm on Wednesday (May 18) in the Gilatala market area He is the son of Ruhul Amin of that area

According to police and locals, Swaib is studying in ninth grade at Gilatala school But the school authorities failed to persuade him more than once because of the misbehavior at the educational institution and the harassment of the girls. Authorities decided to give him a TC from the school about two days before the latest incident As a result, his family members got angry with Shoaib and started arguing with him That night he hanged himself in the yard of his house At one stage, his elder brother entered the house and saw the hanging body. When the family members came and rescued him, they took him to Rampal Upazila Health Complex and the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Rampal police inspector (investigation) Radheshyam Das said Rampal police had sent the body to Bagerhat morgue for autopsy. An unnatural death case has been filed at Rampal police station in this regard
