Police have recovered the half-dead body of a woman from a jute field at Boalmari in Faridpur. The head of the corpse was severed.

The body was recovered from the field of Hasamdia village in Dadpur union of the upazila on Tuesday.

According to the police, the farmers went to visit the jute field in the morning and found the packed body. Police later recovered the headless body. At that time, the severed head was rescued from another jute field.

Dadpur UP Chairman. Mosharraf Hossain said the locals saw the body in a plastic bag while working in the jute field and informed the police. Later, the police opened the mouth of the bag and recovered the headless corpse and the head from another jute field nearby. The body has not been identified yet.
Age approximately 26-27 years.
