Announcing the decision on Sunday, the country’s Supreme Committee said all precautionary measures against Covid-19 had been lifted in all areas and activities.
The committee urges everyone, especially the elderly, suffering from chronic diseases and those with immunodeficiency, to adhere to their own preventive measures.
The Supreme Committee stressed the importance of citizens and expatriates taking booster doses of the vaccine and commended the constructive role of government and civilian agencies in combating the prevention measures and their contribution in limiting the spread of the epidemic.
