The party’s secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has strongly condemned the PM’s statement regarding BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia on the Padma Bridge issue.

Throwing off the bridge: It can never be normal.
We strongly condemn his remarks and never expect such apolitical, indecent remarks.
I urge you to refrain from making such comments, otherwise I will take legal action for such statements.

Mirza Fakhrul told reporters at an exchange meeting organized by the Thakurgaon district branch of the Nationalist Workers Party at the BNP office in the city at 3pm on Thursday.

Regarding the allegation that BNP is conspiring with foreigners, Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘Awami League looted the election.
They communicate with foreigners.
